Flapper Reports 250% Growth in 2019
/Flapper, boutique private airline in Brazil, has released its end-of-year results. In 2019, the company’s total revenues increased by 251% versus 154% growth of its operating costs, on a YoY basis. Tax regime optimization and higher load factors positively affected gross margins. On-demand charter increased by over 1000%, while from shared flights – by over 120%. The last quarter saw revenues of almost $750,000, thanks to strong demand for leisure flights and group charters for the Copa Libertadores soccer tournament. This, coupled with cost optimization, helped to achieve its first operational break-even, which the company considers to be the most important milestone in its 4-year history. Customer satisfaction remained at the NPS level of 89.
Launched in 2016, Flapper is the first on-demand executive aviation company in Brazil and offers shared flight and air charter services.
