NATA Holds Fifth Annual Meeting and Aviation Business Conference

Industry experts shared strategies for effective general aviation advocacy during the Day on the Hill, a focal point of the National Air Transportation Association’s fifth Annual Meeting and Aviation Business Conference held last week in Washington.

Event attendance this year surpassed previous years’ numbers. “We are pleased by the continued growth of this unique and timely event for aviation businesses,” NATA president Gary Dempsey said. “This year’s conference provided opportunities for our members to interact, share ideas and express their concerns on vital issues.”

Highlights included the NATA awards luncheon. NATA recognized Dorenda Baker, former FAA executive director of the Aircraft Certification Service, Banyan Air Service president Don Campion and former NATA president and director emeritus Martin H. Hiller.
