Emlyn David to Lead Skyservice Business Aviation
/Skyservice Business Aviation announced that its CEO, Marshall Myles, has made the decision to retire effective June 30, 2019. Emlyn David, president, Skyservice Business Aviation will serve as president and CEO upon Myles’ retirement.
Myles has been with Skyservice since November 2008, and transitioned to the role of chief executive officer in 2012. Throughout his tenure, he played an integral role in the continued growth and success of Skyservice as an industry leader in the business aviation world. Myles will continue to serve the executive team in a consulting capacity.
“Over the last 11 years, Marshall has provided outstanding leadership. His many contributions and knowledge of the industry is what makes Skyservice the industry leader it is today,” said David.
David has been a director of the company and has served in various capacities since 2008, assuming his current position as president in 2012. He worked alongside Myles since 2008, honing his leadership skills in the aviation industry. Recently, he has been leading the building of a second new Skyservice facility in Toronto, consisting of 90,000 square-feet of hangar space and 20,000 square-feet of terminal space. It is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019 at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
