VP; Sales & Marketing Manager Position Available in Denver, CO
ARGUS International, Inc.: ARGUS, founded in 1995, is the industry leader in providing specialized aviation services to companies that manufacture, finance, operate, maintain and market commercial and business aircraft, as well as providing products and services to end-user consumers worldwide. ARGUS is the industry leader in performing on-site safety audits, charter operator quality Ratings, Safety Management Systems and industry data collection and information services.
The VP; Sales & Marketing position will be located in our Denver, CO office. This position will lead and manage the sales and marketing staff supporting the development and delivery of company products and services. The VP of Sales and Marketing will report to the CEO. This position requires significant interface with the senior leadership team, product managers, high-value customers, media contacts, and other aviation industry representatives for purposes of planning, directing, collaborating, reporting, and executing on approved goals and objectives. The VP of Sales and Marketing will ensure development of external company communications, press releases, and other industry-facing materials. This position will oversee the development of advertising campaigns, company brand-related marketing message vehicles including web-site, collaterals, business cards, proposals, videos, social media, promotional materials and customer recognition packages. This position is a Full-time, exempt position and is expected to work a minimum 40-hour work week plus additional time as necessary to stay current with planned and unplanned responsibilities. Travel is required for intra-company purposes, sales calls and meetings, tradeshows and conferences, educational seminars and potential other reasons.
Minimum requirements include:
- o 4-year college degree, or equivalent work experience
- o
- o Previous experience (3 years minimum) in sales and marketing, preferably business to business sales
- o Good working knowledge of sales use of various social media
- o Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in actual marketing activities
- Experience with current software platforms used in marketing activities is a must (CRM, Email Marketing Software, Content Management System, graphic design programs, etc.)
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and time pressures
- Excellent phone, interpersonal and organizational skills
This position requires a dynamic and experienced person to manage both the strategic and tactical sales and marketing requirements for the company.
