The Air Charter Guide Joins The ACA

The Air Charter Guide is proud to become a member of The ACA (The Air Charter Association). Headquartered in London for over 74 years, the association has been a part of the air charter industry, leading self-regulation and representation of its members to government and regulators. A list of ACA-accredited members can be found at https://www.theaircharterassociation.aero/.

Our team has been attending the annual Air Charter Expo hosted by Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB) for years. Michele Markarian, Director Strategic Accounts, meets with Ali Tunde from Skyward Aviation, based in Abuja, Nigeria, and many other international aviation services providers, making this year’s trip to an unusually hot London. Shelli Hitchins, our Editorial Advertising Manager, based in Fairoaks, showcases our display. In case you missed the busy show with a record number of attendees and a fabulous static display of the finest aircraft, you should make plans for 2024.

Our sister publications, AC-U-KWIK and Airportdata.com, have an office at Fairoaks Airport (EGTF), SW of London. Says Managing Editor of Airportdata.com (part of the Aviation Week Network), Adam Harding: “It's an airport with lots of GA activity (helicopters and fixed-wing) and an 800m asphalt runway. Largest resident aircraft are PC-12s. We even spotted a gryrocopter recently.” Should you fly into Fairoaks at any given time or plan to be at next year’s event give them a ring for advice on anything airports, handling and/or sightseeing in and around London. Cheers!
