Sunwest Aviation Acquires Toronto-Based Jet-Share Canada

Sunwest Aviation Ltd. (Sunwest) is pleased to announce the Company’s expansion into Central Canada with the acquisition of Jet-Share Canada Inc. (Jet-Share), a Toronto-based aircraft management and charter provider. Sunwest will continue to manage a Cessna Citation XLS based at Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ) and has retained key local crew and maintenance staff members.

Effective February 1, 2025, the Jet-Share brand and all related operations have fully transitioned to Sunwest Aviation. This change allows former Jet-Share customers to benefit from Sunwest’s extensive experience, industry-leading safety culture, and robust operational infrastructure, backed by ARGUS Platinum and IS-BAO Stage 3 certifications. The acquisition also marks Sunwest’s continued growth as Canada’s premier private aviation provider. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Sunwest Aviation operates a diverse fleet ranging from the King Air 200 to the ultra-long-range Gulfstream G650ER, offering flexible aircraft charter and aircraft ownership solutions.
