NBAA Announces Recipients of 2023 International Operators Scholarships
/The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has announced the selection of three recipients of the 2023 International Operators Scholarships. The International Operators Scholarship provides recipients with funding to pursue professional development within business aviation careers, with a focus on international operations.
The scholarship winners are:
Richard Vosburg: Vosburg is the director of maintenance for Roper Technologies, and began his career in the Marines. He intends to use his funds to work toward NBAA’s Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) certification.
Jake Harkin: Harkin is currently a pilot on a Gulfstream that is used for international charter. He is planning to use the funds to work toward a master’s degree in aviation science.
Morgan Garlinge: Garlinge is a senior aircraft dispatcher for Chevron, USA. He will use the funds to become a certified International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) auditor.

Scholarship recipients will be honored at NBAA’s annual International Operators Conference (IOC2023), which takes place in Austin, TX from Feb. 13-15. Representatives from the sponsors and the IOC Committee will be at the event to recognize this year’s recipients. Learn more about IOC2023.
