inter airport 2025 Returns to the Munich Messe in October
/inter airport Europe, where the next era of airport innovation takes off, returns to the Munich Messe in Germany, October 7-9, 2025. The premier event, which unites the global airport community, is ideally timed as airports globally progress with bold expansion plans, paving the way for tomorrow’s air transport hubs.
This 25th edition will showcase the latest breakthrough technologies – all designed to empower airports. In 2023, the event welcomed more than 14,000 attendees, of whom over 7,500 were trade visitors and some 430 exhibitors from 37 countries.
With more than 220 exhibitors already committed, including ADB Safegate (airport systems), CEIA S.p.A (metal detectors), ITW GSE (ground power units), TKH Airport Solutions (airfield lighting), Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment Co plus refuelling equipment suppliers JM Enterprise and ELAFLEX HIBY GmbH, this is set to be a milestone 25th event. Sixteen companies have committed to showing products for the first time, to date.
From AI-powered automation, including biometric kiosks, self-service check-ins, smart baggage handling and predictive maintenance tools, to environmentally friendly advancements such as solar-powered terminals, ultra-fast EV charging stations, energy-efficient infrastructure and hydrogen hubs - airports are evolving faster than ever to meet future demands.
In parallel, the airport customer experience is reaching new heights with advances like robot assistants, helping airport operators and contractors deliver a safer working environment for ground handling personnel. VIP lounges, cloud-based solutions, augmented reality navigation and personalised duty-free shopping meanwhile are redefining the passenger journey like never before.
“Against this backdrop of escalating innovation and advances in airport security, we are very excited to deliver inter airport Europe this autumn,” said Polly Magraw, Portfolio Director Transport and Infrastructure at event organisers RX Global. “We are delighted to be celebrating the event’s 25th edition and are proud to be the only international event covering the whole spectrum of airport operations, airside and landside, from curb side to take off.”
“inter airport Europe attendees can look forward to a new programme of networking opportunities, including a free to broad attend conference agenda across the three days, complemented by a hosted buyer programme for airports looking to source new equipment,” she added.
Aviation PR consultancy, The Emerald Network, has been appointed to handle external PR for inter airport Europe 2025.
