/The Air Ambulance Division of German Special Mission Operator FAI rent-a-jet AG, has been nominated as one of three finalists in the Air Ambulance category of the International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ) Awards 2024. This is the sixth time that FAI has been nominated and the nomination follows three award wins in 2012, 2020 and 2021 respectively.
The winner will be revealed at a prestigious ceremony in Vienna, Austria on Thursday 14 November, following the ITIC Global Conference.
Determined by an independent panel of judges, the awards recognise companies that go above and beyond to serve their customers and clients and drive forward positive change in the industry.
Volker Lemke, Managing Director, FAI rent-a-jet, commented: “We are very pleased to be nominated once again for this award - one of the most prestigious in this sector of the industry as we mark almost 35 years performing air ambulance activity. We thank the judges for recognising our achievements in air ambulance. We remain committed to our clients, outstanding service and medical excellence with 10 business jets equipped for medevac use.“

FAI’s Air Ambulance Division was awarded the ‘Outstanding Sector Leadership and Growth Award’ in the Air Ambulance category at the MEA Business Achievement Awards in Dubai in July and scooped the Air Ambulance Company of the Year Award at the Middle East Aviation Awards in 2023.
