FAI Aviation Group Named ‘Employer of the Future’

FAI Aviation Group, Germany’s leading global provider of mission-critical aviation services, has been named a 2023 ‘Employer of the Future’ by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND).

FAI was praised for its entrepreneurial, progressive work in innovation, investing in and maximizing the use of technology and sustainable practices.

DIND, whose patron is Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Economics, is an advocate for small and medium-sized businesses in Germany. SMEs that stand out as exceptional employers are celebrated with this award.

Siegfried Axtmann, founder and Chairman of FAI Aviation Group, commented. “We are pleased to accept this coveted award which recognizes our success in fostering a supportive and engaging workplace for our employees. I would like to dedicate this award to our excellent 300-strong workforce who go the extra mile every day to make our 36-year-old company a success. As we currently face a shortage of skilled workers in Germany, I hope this will help us to attract future talented individuals.“

Following the opening of its new MRO facility at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB) in February, FAI widened its workforce earlier this year, adding 10 team members including engineers and mechanics.
