Expanded NBAA-BACE Safety Program Hosts Government, Industry Leaders
/Building a preventative safety culture through best operating practices and diligent analysis of past errors will be a central focus at the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Orlando, FL.
During 18 timely presentations throughout the Oct. 17-20 convention week, government and industry experts will address business aviation safety priorities including:
Strategies for identifying and mitigating risks related to the four most common accident types
Ways to support mental health awareness in the aviation workforce
Scaling Safety Management Systems (SMS) to meet the needs of different operating segments
Reflecting the show’s emphasis on safety-focused discussions, the NBAA National Safety Forum returns in an expanded format that now takes place throughout the convention week, making it easier than ever for business aviation professionals to participate in these vital industry conversations.
Additionally, a substantial government presence at this year’s NBAA-BACE – which includes National Transportation Safety Board members and, for the first time, a co-located Department of Energy aviation safety summit – will enable critical dialogue on shared safety objectives, including the forthcoming SMS mandate.
