Air Charter Guide Has You Covered: The Super Bowl in Phoenix and the Miami International Boat Show
/The new year is an exciting time to make plans and look ahead! With the holidays behind us, we’re looking for adventure and experience in 2023. January is a great time to get organized and back into your groove. February marks the beginning of events and experiences you won’t want to miss, with the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12th and the Miami International Boat Show from February 15th to the 19th.
Super Bowl Fun in Phoenix
With teams still jostling for position at the title match-up marking the end of the NFL season, participants are still unknown. According to football analysts, the Buffalo Bills, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Kansas City Chiefs stand out as having the best chance to collect championship rings this season. The showdown takes place on February 12th at State Farm Stadium, with a halftime performance by Rhianna.
Super Bowl Opening Night is hosted by FAST TWITCH and will occur at the Footprint Center in Downtown Phoenix. Opening Night is February 6th which kicks off the week leading up to the big game on the 12th. Secure tickets to Opening Night to see players and coaches take questions from reporters. The Opening Night event will be the only time the two teams will be in public together before they meet on the gridiron.
Although, gameday and Opening Night in Arizona won’t be the only cause for celebration. If you can, arriving early to the area before the game would be advised. The Super Bowl Experience, presented by Lowe’s at the Phoenix Convention Center, is an NFL theme park on Saturday, February 4th, and Sunday, February 5th. The experience will reopen leading up to gameday February 9th till February 11th. The tickets for this event are $20 with no hidden fees!
Alternatively, the Super Bowl Experience presented by Lowes will also be accessible at Hance Park. The experience at Hance Park is free and includes live music, entertainment, and local cuisine. Hance Park events will occur from February 9th till the 11th. Both events offer experiences like the 40-yard dash, meet, and greet with players, and picture opportunities with the Vince Lombardi trophy and Super Bowl rings from previous years.
Sun and Boats in Miami
Whether you’ve had your fill of thrill in Arizona watching the game and are prepared for a respite, or if football isn’t your thing and you’re still itching to get away in February, the Miami International Boat Show is ready for you. Whether you choose to lounge and take in the atmosphere or if you’re going with the intention of making a purchase, there is something to do for everyone at this event.
Outside of the Miami Beach Convention Center at Pride Park will be the Progressive Insurance Boat Show Experience. By purchasing a ticket to the boat show, you are permitted access to the Progressive Boat Show Experience, which includes boating lifestyle activations, educational seminars, and activity zones for the family. Visit the AquaZone, a 60’ by 30’ pool home to various demos, hands-on testing, contests with prizes, and a learning center for multiple manufacturers participating in the show. Stop by Fred’s Shed if you want to increase your boating knowledge with classes taught throughout the day, beginning at 10 am and ending at 5 pm. Topics include cleaning, detailing do’s and don’ts, and how ethanol impacts your engine.
Like AquaZone, The Costa Conservation Village is another opportunity to expand your knowledge as a boater by learning how to contribute to a sustainable marine environment. Learn about what a net-free ocean might look like or how Everglades restoration is managed.

Between marveling at a super yacht, learning about marine conservation, or boating tips at the AquaZone, you can kick up the adrenaline at the Wake Sports Experience presented by EZ Drive. Watch professional wake sports athletes compete in exhibitions showing off their skills, and then jump behind the boat in the wake surf simulator to see if you’ve got what it takes to tame the wake.
The Progressive Insurance Boat Show Experience will also be home to hundreds of food and beverage vendors from Miami. The vendors have not been listed yet, but the boat show promises that there will be ample options at all price points, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices.
