Firstly, let's talk about travel advice. Augusta is the second largest city and oldest city in Georgia. With many golf fans flocking to town for The Masters, planning your travel well in advance is essential. The nearest airport is Augusta Regional Airport, less than 20 miles from the golf club. However, if you don’t mind a short drive, Atlanta International Airport is only two hours away. Accommodations near the course include chain locations like Hampton Suites and Country Inn. More boutique options are available for a more novel experience that matches the ambiance of the old city.

The area surrounding Augusta National Golf Club is full of great places to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Here are some restaurant recommendations for you to check out during your visit:

  1. Frog Hollow Tavern: A local favorite, this restaurant serves southern-inspired cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Remember to try their famous shrimp and grits.

Now, let's talk about the tournament itself. The Masters 2023 is a four-day event from April 6th to April 9th. The contest is incredibly competitive, and every shot counts.
