Aeroplex Becomes Certified to NATA Sustainability Standard for Aviation Businesses

Last week, Aeroplex Group Partners (Aeroplex), headquartered in Long Beach, California (KLGB), became the first airport developer to self-certify under NATA’s Sustainability Standard for Aviation Businesses – a free industry standard designed to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (including CO2), increase use of more environmentally friendly energy sources, reduce waste, and encourage sustainability operation-wide.

A preferred provider of aviation consulting, development, property management, and project management services, Aeroplex certified both its Long Beach and Van Nuys general aviation and business aircraft centers under NATA’s sustainability standard.

Developed by a working group under NATA’s Environment Committee, the NATA Sustainability Standard for Aviation Businesses provides a process for pursuing flexible, cost-effective options to lower the carbon footprint of all aviation businesses.
