BLADE Urban Air Mobility to Provide History-Making NBAA-BACE Air Shuttle Flights
/Attendees at the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) will be able to experience an exciting firsthand look at the future of on-demand air transportation through NBAA’s partnership with BLADE Urban Air Mobility, Inc. (BLADE), offering by-the-seat helicopter flights operated by Maverick Helicopters between the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Airport (HND), which is home to the NBAA-BACE aircraft display.
Each flight will seat up to six passengers, who will not only fly over traffic, but also enjoy aerial views of the legendary Las Vegas Strip while en route.
“There’s a lot of excitement in the business aviation community about the potential for safe, fast, on-demand vertical air transport over congested urban traffic,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “Through our partnership with BLADE, those attending NBAA-BACE will have an important opportunity to experience urban air mobility today.”
Flights will operate continuously during show hours from Oct. 12-14, with NBAA-BACE attendees able to easily book their flight through the BLADE mobile app at discounted show rates. Passengers will have access to BLADE passenger lounges located in the expansive North Lobby of the LVCC West Hall and on the aircraft display ramp at HND.
“We are very excited to partner with NBAA and allow NBAA-BACE attendees to experience BLADE’s first-class urban air mobility service in Las Vegas, as we continue working with our strategic partners to expedite the transition to quiet and zero-emission Electric Vertical Aircraft,” said BLADE President Melissa Tomkiel.
