Business aviation’s long-standing sustainability agenda will be in full focus with a new luncheon panel of industry leaders, to be held on the opening day of the 2021 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, NV.

The luncheon panel is part of the 2021 Business Aviation Sustainability Summit, taking place in conjunction with the convention. The session, taking place Oct. 12 from noon – 1:30 p.m. (PT), will be moderated by acclaimed aviation and aerospace correspondent, director and producer Miles O’Brien. Panelists will be:

  • Brian Sherbacow, President and CEO, Alder Fuels – Sherbacow is a recognized pioneer in the development of sustainable aviation fuels derived from renewable feedstocks with lower carbon emissions.
  • Omer Bar-Yohay, Co-Founder & CEO, Eviation Aircraft – Eviation is spearheading the development of electric aircraft with Alice, the world’s first all-electric commuter aircraft, which aims to make electric flight the sustainable, affordable and quiet solution for regional travel.
  • Jon Gordon, Co-founder, Universal Hydrogen – The company is working to make hydrogen-powered flight a near-term reality by transporting gaseous hydrogen in modular capsules over the existing freight network from green production sites to airports around the world.

The event will also include a presentation of the National Aeronautic Association’s (NAA’s) first Sustainable Wings certifications.

This lunchtime discussion will be held just ahead of an afternoon program – part of the 2021 Business Aviation Sustainability Summit – devoted to business aviation’s sustainable future. View the program.
