Chrysler Aviation Joins the ACSF and ASAP

Chrysler Aviation, the aircraft charter and management services company based in Van Nuys, California, has joined the Air Charter Safety Foundation (acsf.aero) and its Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP). The ACSF, which has now grown to encompass more than 240 member companies, is a non-profit aviation safety organization that provides programs to enable the highest levels of safety in personal, charter and business aviation.

The ASAP is administered by the ACSF in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration. Chrysler Aviation’s membership in the ASAP enables its employees to voluntarily report significant safety concerns, non-compliance with regulations and other unusual events. Each report is investigated, and corrective actions are determined based on a non-disciplinary approach to flight safety.

“Safety is our top priority, especially since we’re well-known for our ability to respond within less than two hours for urgent charters on a 24/7/365 basis,” said Stelios Rapis, President, Chrysler Aviation. “We’re always ready to provide for our distinguished clientele, which includes U.S. agencies, corporations, medical centers, film and TV studios and grounded airline staff. They all call us because they know that we’ll respond immediately to their needs.”

“We’re very happy to welcome Chrysler Aviation into our ranks,” noted Bryan Burns, ACSF President. “I think that their membership in both the ACSF and our ASAP program will only strengthen the safety emphasis that they pride themselves on.”
