Farnborough Airport Announces New Business Development Manager

Richard WittelsFarnborough Airport (EGLF) has announced the appointment of a new Business Development Manager, Richard Wittels, effective immediately.

Wittels brings to this position over 14 years of experience in the business aviation industry through his work at TAG Aviation UK. He will be responsible for identifying opportunities aimed at further developing the business and will also focus on demonstrating to the industry and customers, the complete portfolio of services and facilities available at the airport. 

2019 was a year of milestones for Farnborough Airport, including the acquisition of the airport by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets and a year-on-year increase in air traffic movements of 5.3 per cent for the full year. The airport also hosted a coalition of business aviation organizations from around the globe for the sustainable aviation fuel initiative event, “Fuelling the Future”, and was named a winner at the IEMA (The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) Sustainability Awards 2019, further underlining the airport’s ongoing commitment to responsible and sustainable development.
