NATA Welcomes the Confirmations of Graham and Chapman to the NTSB

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) congratulates Michael Graham and Thomas Chapman on their confirmations to the NTSB. NATA COO Timothy Obitts stated, "Both Chapman and Graham bring a level of experience, expertise, openness, and collaboration that will greatly benefit the important work of the NTSB."

Graham's term as a board member is through 2025, and Chapman's term runs through the end of 2023. Their appointments round out the 5-member Board.

Graham most recently served as the director of Flight Operations Safety, Security, and Standardization for Textron Aviation, Inc., overseeing their safety management system, global security, and air safety investigations. Graham also served as the Chairman of the Air Charter Safety Foundation.

Chapman previously served as minority counsel to the Senate Commerce Subcommittee on Aviation and Space, and has nearly four decades of experience in government, legislative, and regulatory affairs. Chapman was involved in the recent bipartisan effort to pass comprehensive legislation reauthorizing the FAA, TSA, and NTSB.
