BAA Training to Open Aviation Training Center in South Europe

BAA Training, independent European aviation training center, will establish BAA Training Spain with a new training center near Barcelona–El Prat Airport (LEBL).

The 5300-square-meter modern training center will have brand new training equipment, classrooms, briefing rooms and a luxury lounge. According to BAA Training representatives, BAA Training Spain is set to operate 7 full flight simulators by 2023, becoming the biggest training center in Southern Europe.

The first two full flight simulators are scheduled for 2020. The Airbus A320ceo full flight simulator will be ready for training in August, and the Boeing 737NG is planned to start operation in September. With all 7 simulators in operation, BAA Training Spain will provide more than 51 thousand flight training hours and provide recurrent pilot training for approximately 6,000 pilots yearly.
