Penly of NV Jets Elected to the ACSF Board of Governors

The Air Charter Safety Foundation (acsf.aero) is pleased to announce the election of NV Jets CEO and Founder, Laura “London” Penly, to the ACSF Board of Governors. The Board of Governors establishes the ACSF’s strategic goals, policies and programs, and provides expertise on aviation-related issues including flight operations, safety management systems and maintenance.

A native of London, England, Ms. Penly moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000. She earned a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and behavioral science. Then shortly after graduation, Penly returned to England and moved up the ranks with a subprime lender, for which she managed repossession of major assets. This position ultimately brought her back to the United States, where her work and increasing number of customer relationships led her to private aviation.

Penly delved passionately into the science of aviation, reading and studying federal regulations intensively, and she soon acquired two aircraft. Within a year, she was granted a Part 135 on-demand charter certificate, and, with that, founded NV Jets, in 2010.

Located at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, NV Jets was voted “Best Airline” in the annual issue of the “Best of” Las Vegas Review Journal, beating out airlines such as Southwest and Allegiant. The company has received numerous other awards and “firsts” in the state.
