ProAir Operates First Commercial Pilatus PC-12 in Germany

Stuttgart based ProAir Group has expanded its fleet with a Pilatus PC-12. The state-of-the-art turboprop is the first and currently only aircraft of the type operated commercially in Germany.

The Pilatus PC-12 is a single engine, turbine, multi-purpose aircraft. It combines the reliable and efficient Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine with a spacious and quiet cabin. The LCD cockpit with digital navigation technology and avionics are unique in this class.

This aircraft has the capability to take off and land on short runways, high cruise speed and flexibility in cabin configuration. The PC-12 can transport passengers and high volume cargo or baggage at the same time. Changing the cabin from passenger to cargo configuration only takes minutes, which means a serious advantage when used for time critical transports for the automotive industry.
