BAA Training Expands Its Ab Initio School in Spain

BAA Training has expanded its Ab Initio flight school. Currently operating in Lithuania and Spain, the Academy has added a second flight base at Castellón Airport (LECH) in Spain. Last year, the Academy opened its first flight base in Spain at Lleida-Alguaire International Airport.

BAA Training currently has over 310 students at its Ab Initio school. BAA Training offers Fixed or Rotary wings Ab Initio, Type Rating, Cabin Crew, Ground Handling, Flight Dispatcher training solutions including online training courses. In 2016, BAA Training launched Cadet Pilot programs with leading airlines in Turkey, Hungary, Iceland, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania and Vietnam. In 2019 the company launched an MPL training program with Avion Express. With a network of 80 FFS in 30 locations, BAA Training provides aviation training worldwide for more than 14 aircraft types. 

Along with the infrastructure expansion, BAA Training is now supplementing its fleet with additional aircraft. With up to 6M euros investment BAA Training is set to expand its Ab Initio fleet by more than 70% in 2020 and invest additional 10M euros in 2021.
