Jet Aviation Acquires New Aircraft

Jet Aviation has added 36 aircraft to its global management fleet this year, including 24 additions in the United States and 12 in EMEA & Asia. The fleet additions are predominantly large body aircraft. In EMEA & Asia, the additions include the region’s first G500 as well as its first A330. The 12 aircraft are equally distributed between Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Of the 12 new aircraft that have entered the Jet Aviation fleet in EMEA and Asia, three are available for charter, including a Bombardier Global Express, a Boeing BBJ1 and a Gulfstream G650. The three charter aircraft are all based in Europe.

Jet Aviation will also be adding a Geneva-based G550 to its charter fleet in Q1 2020. Earlier this year, the company opened a new Flight Services branch office, providing Aircraft Management, Flight Support and CAMO services to Southeast Asian-based clients.

Jet Aviation operates its global aircraft management and charter fleet out of its nine global operations centers located in Burbank, California; Chicago, Illinois; Teterboro, New Jersey; Valletta, Malta; Cologne, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Hong Kong; and Singapore. The company is currently in the final stages of establishing GACA-approval (Part 125) for flight operation in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
