Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for troubleshooting repairs, performing scheduled and routine maintenance as well as inspections on customer and client aircraft in accordance with applicable FAA regulations. This includes hands-on work, monitoring quality and efficiency of maintenance. Must be a pro-active team-player who works effectively with fellow technicians while providing the customers and client the highest level of efficient service and aircraft maintenance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform aircraft post flights and inspections
- Performs work on discrepancies
- Troubleshoot airframe, engine and components
- Ensure aircraft are returned to service per FAA regulations and Repair Station manual.
- Available for standby
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Basic Skills needed: typing, word processing
Certificates and Licenses Recommended:
- Current Airframe license and Powerplant license
- Clean, valid driver's license
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Specific vision capabilities required by the position include: close vision, distance vision, color vison, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
