We are currently constructing a new 5 acre, 5 million-dollar facility to accommodate our growth.
We have an active and effective Safety Management System that allows us to continually make thoughtful improvements in how we do things. We hold a variety of industry recognitions, including IS-BAO Stage III Registration, ARGUS Platinum and Wyvern Wingman status as well as NATA Safety 1st and IS-BAH Stage I.

What’s it like to fly for Desert Jet?
Desert Jet places the responsibility for decision-making right where it should be - with the captain of the aircraft. We value the authority of our captains and respect the experience level of our captains, involving them in many of the day to day decisions made about the direction of our company.
90% of our flying is during the day and 100% of it is flying with awesome team members helping you create a WOW customer service experience for your passengers. Our fleet consists of jet aircraft meticulously maintained by our own FAA Part 145 maintenance company.
Our average duty day is 8 hours, average number of hours flown monthly is 50, and average days of flying per month is 15.

All Desert Jet employees live in the greater Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area. Relocation assistance will be provided to qualified candidates.
Minimum requirements include:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- 3000 hours total flight time
- CE560XL Type Rating
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Excellent Interpersonal, Customer Service and Communication Skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Certified Aviation Manager certification
- Previous experience in Part 135 operations
- Leadership experience
