Execujet Africa | Flight Operations Manager - RPO

Job Purpose

To ensure seamless operations by having well trained staff who have access to all relevant information and resources to be well informed and deliver a supreme service within Fixed Base Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration & control functions are carried out effectively (Overseeing Flight Administrators, organizing shift roster and standby duties, overseeing service providers, updating price lists)
  • Manage human resources of department
  • Effective and efficient customer service to all clients continued contact with service providers, build network opportunities, negotiate competitive agreements with suppliers)
  • Manage financial responsibilities of department
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of all the relevant sections to ensure that the aircraft and flight crew are ready to depart at the published scheduled time
  • Ensure that flight preparation is done effectively
  • Overseeing aircraft cleaning and dispatcher department
  • Ensure safety & quality assurance
  • Assisting with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

 

Requirements

Experience

  • 2 Years experience in senior Flight and Ground operational position
  • On the job experience with subordinate job functions (permits, ground handling, fuel)
  • Experience in interaction with dignitaries and VIP’s
  • 4 Years dispatching experience
  • 2 Years administration related experience in the Aviation industry
  • 3 Years operations & flight planning experience

 

Qualifications

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Relevant qualification relating to FBO/VIP Lounge
  • Relevant managerial qualification
  • Pilot License
  • Flight Dispatch Course/License/FOO
  • Aviation Services training
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

 

Additional Requirements

  • Drivers License (Code 8) & own reliable transport
