New Developments From the Bermuda Aircraft Registry
/The Bermuda Aircraft Registry announces the following developments:
- Cape Town Convention has been enacted in Bermuda.
- Streamlined process for renewal of the Certificate of Airworthiness has just been established.
- Renewal process for the Certificate of Airworthiness can commence 90 days prior to expiry of the old CoA and the new CoA will be renewed for a full year from the current date of expiry.
- Companies incorporated in Switzerland or a Swiss citizen may now place an aircraft on the Bermuda Registry.
- BCAA is establishing an office in Hong Kong to provide even better response times to our clients in the Asia Pacific region – more on this later!
The Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) is responsible for the regulation and safety oversight of aviation in Bermuda, and all aircraft on the Bermuda Aircraft Registry.
