Pentastar Aviation Installs Honeywell JetWave High-Speed Satellite Communication on G550

Pentastar Aviation recently completed installation of Honeywell’s JetWave High-speed satellite communications hardware on a Gulfstream 550 aircraft. The install on the G550 was done concurrently with the Gogo AVANCE L5 system, the first aftermarket installation of both systems on this airframe. 

Honeywell’s JetWave Satellite Communications terminals provide in-flight Ka-band global broadband service. Operating on the Inmarsat Global Express network, the JetWave system is designed to provide seamless, broadband-class data connectivity around the world. The hardware and network are optimized for mobility, providing an outstanding passenger connectivity experience.
