London Biggin Hill Airport to Introduce Boxing Day Opening Hours

Due to increased demand, dedicated business aviation airport London Biggin Hill (EGKB) is introducing Boxing Day opening hours this year.

Private jet travellers will be able to use the airport from 10am to 6pm on Wednesday, December 26th.

Andy Patsalides, marketing manager, London Biggin Hill Airport says: “As one of the world’s most significant business and financial centres, it is vital that we provide consistent access to London, even during the festive period.

“The decision to open on Boxing Day is particularly in response to the needs of our customers from the US. Since extending our regular operating hours 18 months ago, transatlantic movements at the airport have surged, with the latest ‘Business Aviation INSIGHT’ report from WINGX showing a 40.5% year-on-year increase. Travellers from across the Atlantic will be able to board a flight late on Christmas Day, and arrive in London by mid-morning on the 26^th, be it for business or pleasure.”
