Desert Jet is currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of Director of Maintenance.

Where we are.
Desert Jet is located at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM) in Thermal California.
Thermal is located in the Coachella Valley which contains the resort cities of Palm Springs and Palm Desert, as well as Rancho Mirage, Indio, La Quinta, Indian Wells and Cathedral City
The greater Palm Springs area offers something for everyone - beautiful weather, low cost of living and ample opportunities for fun and adventure. A sample of nearby activities include:
- Golfing – The greater Palm Springs area has over 100 golf courses
- Desert off-road bike riding, sand dunes - less than 30 minutes drive
- Colorado River - boating, jet skiing - 90 minute drive
- Joshua Tree - hiking, rock climbing, camping - 60 minute drive

Who we are looking for.
You are an experienced DOM with the ambition to have a greater impact on an organization. You have experience managing the maintenance of a fleet of aircraft and you are well-versed in the requirements of a charter operation involving the management of aircraft with 10 or more seats. You know your way around a conformity inspection and can communicate effectively with FAA personnel to achieve desired results for both parties. You have pride in your fleet and a proactive stance in ensuring your aircraft are dispatch-ready. Successful candidates for the position will hold the following qualifications;
- Previous experience in Part 135 operations.
- Managerial experience.
- FAA airframe and powerplant (A&P) license.
- Experience and training on Cessna Citation and Bombardier Challenger airframes.
- Must meet the requirements of FAR 119.71.
