Execujet Europe | Direct Charter Sales Manager

ExecuJet is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy within the Charter division, based at Cambridge, United Kingdom. 

The main objective of the position is to exceed the monthly sales targets set by the business through independent planning, calculating and selling of tailor-made transportation on ExecuJet managed charter-aircraft (as an operator) or suitable third-party charter-aircraft (as a broker) to direct clients.

To oversee the ExecuJet commercial interest to ensure satisfactory sales in line with set targets.

To oversee and manage the back office ExecuJet Team in terms of ensuring that broker desk sold flights are released and performed to satisfactory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record all quotations in Flightware to direct clients, record individual charter bookings and monitor sales efforts aiming to exceed targets for direct clients.
  • Listen to customer requirements and quote appropriately to make a sale, for direct clients.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customer’s businesses and requirements, for direct clients.
  • Respond promptly to incoming email and phone enquiries, for direct clients.
  • Follow up on quotations sent, negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales, for direct clients.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls and emails, for direct clients.
  • Identify, call and arrange meetings with new potential customers to prospect for new business and report activities to the VP Europe for direct clients.
  • Determine financial considerations and prepare financial information for management (prepares paperwork to be given to accounting department for credit or debit to be issued and checks with financial department concerning credit status of customer when rush orders are received).
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operational sequence, for direct clients.
  • Resolves customer complaints regarding sales and service, for direct clients.
  • Challenge any objections with the view of getting the customer to buy; i.e. owners refusal; KAM refusal to request owner’s release, pilot trip refusal for both direct clients and broker desk sold flights.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Any ad hoc projects and tasks as required by your line Manager.
  • To liaise with broker desk management to ensure smooth operation of their flights.
  • To assist broker desk management is securing sold flights.
  • To ensure broker desk sold flights are released (in terms of owner approval) in a timely manner
  • To ensure broker desk sold flights are performed satisfactory in terms of back office administration.

Working Hours: Will also be required to complete some on-call duty shifts on evenings and weekends.
