Position Summary:

The First Officer reports to the Chief Pilot and is responsible for the conduct and execution of their assigned duties. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Act as Second in Command (SIC) of flights for which the pilot has been assigned
- Assist the captain with discharging safety responsibilities
- Be prepared to assume the duties of the pilot in command in the event that the pilot in command becomes incapacitated
- Wear the company issued uniform and comply with the uniform policy
- Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation
- Operate the assigned aircraft in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual and all company manuals
- Ensure that the preflight inspections are performed
- Perform all company assigned duties in accordance with company manuals, memos and policies
- Provide excellent customer service to our passengers
- Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation
- Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for each flight, with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of our passengers
- Use and follow checklists
- Remain technically proficient and knowledgeable on your assigned aircraft
- Remain knowledgeable and abide by all Company policies and procedures, FARs, Ops Specs, and AIM procedures
- Handle passenger baggage and cargo
- Assist passengers with their ground transportation needs
- Revise all necessary publications
- Maintain type rating requirements in your assigned aircraft
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

- Associates Degree
- ATP License with appropriate type rating
- 1st Class Medical
- 4,000 hours of total flight time
- 1,500 hours of turbojet time
- International experience preferred
- Prior Part 135 experience preferred
- Must be willing to live within 1 hour of your assigned airport
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- No FAA accidents or violations within the last 6 years
