The work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 2pm.

This Part Time position is for a highly motivated person who works well with others; both employees and customers. You will be required to order, track, and organize all parts for our managed aircraft and outside customers while keeping the stock room orderly. To perform this job successfully as a part time Parts Coordinator, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Answer department phone calls in a timely and professional manner

Order, ship, inspect and inventory parts

Knowledge of aircraft parts
-
Maintain stock room, keeping it clean, neat and orderly

Track all parts that are sent out for repair

Aircraft parts negotiation experience

Able to communicate effectively with the Manager

Must be available to be on call or standby

Pickup and Deliver parts from our local vendors
-
Assist with daily deliveries from Fedex, UPS, Etc..

Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have a valid driver’s license

Excellent phone and negotiation skills with venders and suppliers

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos

Ability to write simple correspondence with attention given to grammar and spelling
-
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
-
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form
-
Basic Skills needed – typing, word processing
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
