PRISM ARMOR SMS Joins the ACSF ASAP Program

PRISM, a wholly owned subsidiary of ARGUS International, is pleased to announce their participation in the ACSF Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).

ASAP is a voluntary, self-reporting program that identifies and reduces possible flight safety concerns and mitigates risk. ASAP uses employee input to identify significant safety concerns and issues, operational deficiencies, non-compliance with regulations, deviations from company policies and procedures, and unusual events. PRISM ARMOR subscribers now have the ability to submit safety reports to the ASAP Program, directly from the PRISM ARMOR software.

“Bringing ASAP to PRISM ARMOR users through the ACSF program provides tremendous benefit,” said Steve Witowski, Vice President of PRISM’s Business Aviation Safety Systems. “Participating operators can now designate ARMOR generated safety reports for inclusion into ASAP review and experience the protections afforded by that safety program. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with the Air Charter Safety Foundation in this initiative.”

“The goal is to provide end users with one-stop shopping by combining their overall safety management system with an ACSF-ASAP program,” said ACSF president Bryan Burns. “It is through a cooperative effort and shared mission of safety, that the ACSF and PRISM ARMOR have been able to bring this program to the marketplace through a single data source. Both entities believe this will be a win-win relationship for the charter and business aviation community, as we work together to reduce operational risk and redundant workload associated with multiple databases,” noted Burns.
