We currently have a NEW Full-Time position available for a Client Relations Manager for our Charter division.

In this role as the Client Relations Manager, you will provide managed aircraft support and administrative support to the Aircraft Management Department.  This position will require the individual to stay current on the day to day activities of our aircraft owners and learn all aspects of Meridian’s Aircraft Management program.  This position will require the individual to be intimately familiar with our aircraft owners and their requirements as it pertains to their aircraft. Maintain a close working relationship with the owner’s crew, Flight Operations, Charter Sales, Accounting, Maintenance and the FBO will be essential to this position.  In addition to the day to day activities, the Client Relations Manager may be assigned long term projects designed to improve our program.  To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Communicate verbally, in person and via email with Meridian’s managed aircraft owners and prospects. 
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with managed aircraft owners and clients to maximize their satisfaction and account retention.
  • Attend owner meetings and remain current on owner flight and maintenance issues.
  • Meet and greet owner departures and or arrivals regularly.
  • Respond to owner needs in a timely manner.
  • Work with Senior Management to resolve issues.
  • Assist in the management sales process by researching airports, hangar rates, fuel pricing, etc.
  • Maintain awareness of our competitor’s product.
  • Develop a monthly report for aircraft owners.
  • Develop an Aircraft Owner guide and Service Standards Manual that sets expectations for both Meridian and aircraft owners.
  • Aircraft On-Boarding process for new aircraft joining the Meridian aircraft management program
  • Keep track of current management agreements and assist in annual renewals.
  • Update and maintain Salesforce, AMSTAT, etc., as required.
  • Work with minimal oversight, using independent judgment.
  • Organize and prioritize the workload and keep your Manager aware of any competing deadlines.
  • Maintain office routine in the VP of Aviation Sales’ absence and assure smooth flow of daily operations.
  • Accept additional responsibilities, as assigned, to support the organization and the team.
  • Learn the budget and proposal process.
  • Attend meetings and presentations with your manager, as required.
  • Meet with crew members as needed.
  • Meet with aircraft owners and staff periodically.  Obtain feedback and develop solutions to improve our services.
  • Available after hours.
  • Travel as required.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • MUST have 2-4 years of private aviation industry experience primarily selling Private Jet Charters and Flight operations.
  • Experience dealing with customers and clients.
  • Must have good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to communicate orally, read and write in English.
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations - addition, multiplication, division, subtraction and work with percentages.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point required).
  • Clean, valid, current Driver’s License.
