We currently seeking a Full Time experienced Aircraft Technician (Mechanic). 

Must be able to work Monday - Thursday from 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM and holidays as needed.  

This position will be responsible for troubleshooting repairs, performing scheduled and routine maintenance as well as inspections on customer and client aircraft in accordance with applicable FAA regulations. This includes hands-on work, monitoring quality and efficiency of maintenance. Must be a pro-active team-player who works effectively with fellow technicians while providing the customers and client the highest level of efficient service and aircraft maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform aircraft post flights and inspections
  • Performs work on discrepancies
  • Troubleshoot airframe, engine and components
  • Ensure aircraft are returned to service per FAA regulations and Repair Station manual.
  • Available to preform maintenance away from base
  • Work well with customers and advise them on status of aircraft
  • Responsible for complying with and participating in Meridian's Safety Management System and OSHA training programs

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a current Airframe and Powerplant License
  • A minimum of (3) years of experience,
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic Computer Skills needed; typing, word processing
  • Mechanics Tools
  • Available for standby
  • Must be willing to travel for road maintenance and training
