Coleman Jet's GIV Features Gogo AVANCE L5 System
/Coleman Jet, the aircraft management and private air charter division of B. Coleman Aviation, is excited to announce their Gulfstream IV is one of the first recipients of the Gogo AVANCE L5 to be installed on a Part 135 charter aircraft. This first of a kind installation on the Gulfstream IV aircraft was provisioned several months earlier, offering service more than three times faster than its existing air-to-ground system.
Gogo AVANCE is an innovative approach that combines Gogo's advanced hardware and software technology to create a fully integrated, aviation-grade inflight connectivity and entertainment platform. The Gogo AVANCE L5 connects to the Gogo Biz 4G network offering passengers faster speeds onboard for streaming audio and video, on-demand movies, smartphone use, email exchange, plus additional advantages in the cockpit for remote diagnostics and real-time data.
“On the aircraft’s functional evaluation flight, we tried to load the system down with multiple users operating several devices each,” said James Stedman, B. Coleman Aviation’s director of technical services. “The system impressed us with seamless operation.”
“We are thrilled that our strong relationship with Gogo propelled this project to completion and I believe all involved are extremely satisfied with the outcome,” states Ed Fares, director of operations for Coleman Jet. “The ability to offer this aircraft to the charter market with an inflight WiFi experience like none other is extraordinary! We are thrilled to be part of this groundbreaking technology.”
B. Coleman Aviation completed the installation of the AVANCE L5 system on the Gulfstream IV and is accepting orders to install the system on multiple airframe makes and models.
B. Coleman Aviation will be exhibiting at NBAA Oct 10-12 at booth C8538.
