You are an experienced professional with a background in aircraft dispatch, eager to join an enthusiastic team.  You are accustomed to watching NOTAMs and TFRs while flight tracking a fleet of jets and keeping track of your customer's preferences to surprise them with their favorite bottle of wine.  If this sounds like you, then keep reading, because Desert Jet is seeking a Aircraft Flight Coordinator and Dispatcher to join our growing team.

The type of person that will excel in this position has high-level organizations skills and extreme attention to detail; is eager to help, can think clearly under time pressure, has high-level organizational skills and has the drive to provide anticipatory service to fellow team members and customers. 

The most successful candidates will have experience in the aviation industry as a charter coordinator, dispatcher or customer service representative, thrive in a fast-paced, friendly environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate positive interactions with flight crews
  • Manage all facets of trip planning, follow up and flight following
  • Utilize an online calendar to interpret aircraft availability and optimize the schedule
  • Monitor daily and future flight schedule to ensure service and efficiency
  • Communicate with the flight crews assigned to company flights to ensure that safety, compliance and customer service opportunities are successfully orchestrated
  • Schedule ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and airline travel for flight crew in accordance with company policy and procedures while also eliminating any interruptions to the flight schedule
  • Coordinate aircraft handling with FBOs, handlers and customs agents to include arrangements for fuel, catering, hangar, aircraft cleaning, after-hours services, international services, or other services as needed
  • Provide detailed pre/post flight briefings to crews and flight following duties as assigned and collect all trip related paperwork from crews to facilitate proper invoicing and record keeping
  • Coordinate with Charter Sales team with flight crew feedback, customer preferences, and any details that will enhance the Desert Jet product and deliver the WOW to our valued clients
