Jet Aviation FBO Begins Operations at Van Nuys Airport

Jet Aviation has received approval from Los Angeles World Airports to begin operating an FBO at Van Nuys Airport.

The company is currently offering FBO services from an interim terminal. Offerings include full line service capabilities and 24/7 guarded entry to the airport and ramp.

Earlier this year, Jet Aviation was awarded by the City of Los Angelesa a 30-year lease for a 17-acre site to establish an FBO facility at Van Nuys Airport. Jet Aviation plans to build a 20,000 square foot LEED Silver Certified FBO terminal and two hangars totaling almost 95,000 square feet with associated back shop and office space, all to be completed by the end of 2018.

The full service FBO will offer domestic and international handling; complete line service; executive conference rooms; a crew lounge; a flight planning room; and a business center. The Van Nuys facility adds to Jet Aviation’s footprint on the West Coast. The newest addition to Jet Aviation’s global FBO network is the company’s eighth facility in the Americas.

“We are delighted to be moving forward with operations at Van Nuys Airport,” said John Langevin, vice president, FBO operations, North America. “Jet Aviation offers unparalleled hospitality and service, making us a great addition to Van Nuys Airport. We look forward to helping strengthen our role in the local community as we create jobs for the region.
