Prestige Jet Forms Training Department

Prestige Jet, the fastest-growing private jet company in the region, today announced that it has formed a new in-house training department for its ever-growing members of crew.
This new investment aims at maintaining high levels of service at all times. "This is another first in the industry in the region for Prestige Jet," Prestige Jet group cabin crew manager Nurdinie Mei
Abdullah said. "We constantly invest in training our people to give each and every one of our clients
the royal treatment they deserve while on a private flight with us. With setting up our in-house
training department, we ensure that the high levels of energy, enthusiasm, hospitality,
responsiveness and royal treatment are extended to our customers throughout our
flights."
Prestige Jet, which became the first Arabian operator to have a base in Europe and
the first multibased private jet operator in the Middle East, has seen its business boom since it
launched in 2007 and is expecting the trend to continue despite the current economic environment. The
company today operates the largest private jet fleet in the Arab region. With orders placed for many
more, Prestige Jet is expected to maintain its leadership in the region.
As part of its
on-going promotion of perfection in the skies, the air charter had earlier teamed up with Etiquette
House to provide tailor-made training courses for the first of a new influx of cabin crew joining
it.
With several new aircraft set to arrive in the coming months and plans to double its fleet
in 2009, Prestige Jet is embarking on an intensive cabin crew recruitment and training
program.
"Etiquette House was selected to develop special courses designed to complement our
new in-house program for our top-quality new recruits, who have been carefully selected from the
crème de la crème of the cabin crew community," Nurdinie said. She adds that the requirements of a
private jet cabin crew are very different to those of a commercial airline.
The exquisite
taste of Prestige's guests in the skies is fulfilled throughout the flight; fine food selected from
an a la carte menu is served on fine china with pure silver cutlery and crystal glass. These are only
complemented by the most personalized and gracious service of any cabin crew.
Nurdinie travels
the globe on Prestige's flights to supplement on-the-ground training with on-flight supervision and
assessment. So does Merzukhi Bin Abd. Ani, Prestige Jet service and performance manager, who runs the
training workshops. He was extensively trained in a French fine-dining environment. He was flying for
commercial airlines and private jet operators amongst others.
He has a long-track record in
training crew for commercial first-class services and private jet companies. Nurdinie and Merzukhi
find themselves traveling all over the world in opposite directions most of the time to ensure there
is no compromise to the service offered by the leading regional air charter to its demanding
customers.
"We have discerning clients who appreciate the finer things in life. My aim is to
surround them with a refined experience throughout their journey and for them to remember us for our
excellence and personal approach to servicing them," Merzukhi said. "As we grow our fleet both to
meet increased demands from passengers and in order to take our business to new levels, we also need
our cabin crew to be versatile and multitasking in delivering outstanding customer service across a
wide range of aircraft."
