Million Air Dallas Plans to Add New FacilityMillion Air Dallas announced that ground would break on October 25, 2010, for another new facility, expanding the capacity currently available at the existing Addison Airport FBO. In the past years, it has have onto the existing facility with additional hangar space of 70,000 square feet and completed a renovation totaling $2 Million dollars. This new hangar, terminal and ramp, estimated at $4 Million dollars and 275,000 square feet, will increase its capacity by nearly 50% and be open in Spring of 2011. The building of Million Air Dallas in 1984 created the first prestigious, full service, award-winning FBO. This new facility will be another first, serving as an "owners club" for Million Air Dallas managed and charter clients. Offering full service amenities, including conference room, guest office, bar/lounge area, lobby and the luxury of drive-up valet ramp service, owners will be pampered. In addition to office and storage space, the dominant structure will contain a new 40,000-square-foot hangar to house the Million Air managed fleet and be able to accommodate the new Gulfstream G-650 available in early 2012. The expanding charter fleet currently of 20 aircraft, five being large-cabin, has prompted the need for more space.
