Million Air Dallas Hosts Second Annual Wings & Wheels Event

At its second annual Wings & Wheels event last Saturday, Million Air Dallas exhibited exotic, antique and collectible automobiles from the private collections of Dallas-area fine car enthusiasts as well as private jets at its Addison Airport facilities.

Attendees, sipping from champagne flutes, were able to browse through the cars, mingle with the owners, meet the pilots of the various planes and chat with a variety of exhibitors of fine jewelry and other goods and services appropriate to the “Million Air Lifestyle.”

Awards were given to the best American car, best foreign car and best car in show. The latter award was presented by Frost Bank, the title co-sponsor of the event.

Asked about the bulldozers working next door to the hangars, Million Air Dallas president Jack Hopkins revealed that work has begun preparing the ground for a new larger facility to handle the growth of the company as it adds new jets in the coming year. “The new hangar and ramp space will also allow us to expand the scope of the next Wings & Wheels in the spring of 2012,” he said.
