Metrojet Gains Rockwell Collins Dealership AuthorizationMetrojet, headquartered in Hong Kong, announced its recent appointment as an approved Rockwell Collins Dealership to further enhance its customer support capabilities. Rockwell Collins has been recognized as a leader in the design, production and support of communication and aviation electronics for customers worldwide. “We are delighted to become an authorized Rockwell Collins Dealership," said Chris Buchholz, CEO, Metrojet Limited. "Metrojet is now able to provide customers with a full range of maintenance services and support on Rockwell Collins avionics systems." Metrojet operates a 24/7 maintenance and AOG hotline to support corporate aircraft around the clock throughout Asia with a team of more than 90 maintenance professionals. Metrojet manages a Gulfstream consignment inventory of more than $20 million on-site spares at its airside facility, thereby facilitating regional AOG support for business aircraft. Metrojet’s maintenance department is a fully-certified repair station with approvals from both the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and the United States Federal Aviation Administration, and is also fully authorized to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in various other countries, including China, Macau, Bermuda and Cayman Islands, with more approvals to be added.
