Bombardier Appoints Metrojet as their choice for “Olympic Support”

Metrojet has been appointed as the Olympic Support Aircraft Service Facility for the games in Beijing, China. With a maintenance staff of more than 75 people, Metrojet’s maintenance department is a certified repair station with approvals from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, the United States Federal Aviation Administration, Bermuda BCDA and Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands. It is also authorized to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in various other countries, including China, Macau and Canada.-hour AOG support for Bombardier aircraft during the Olympic games.
Metrojet is authorized to provide on-site maintenance and technical as well as 24-hour AOG support for Bombardier aircraft during the Olympic games.
“As an authorized Bombardier Aircraft Service Facility in the region and having a representative office in Beijing, Metrojet can also provide logistical support to transport maintenance parts and materials in and out of China during the Olympics," said Chris Buchholz, CEO of Metrojet Limited. "Being the leading maintenance service center in Asia, we will provide full business aviation support to the Beijing Olympics.”
Metrojet is an authorized Bombardier Aircraft Service Facility for Global, Challenger and Learjet aircraft as well as a full Gulfstream Authorized Warranty Repair Facility. The highly trained, qualified and experienced engineers have Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce, GE, Honeywell and Turbomeca aircraft engines and APU type ratings. The Avionics and Airframe engineers also have ratings on Gulfstream, Bombardier, Hawker Beechcraft, Falcon, Cessna Citation, Embraer, Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Metrojet is also a Pratt & Whitney Recognized Maintenance Facility and Mobile Repair Team and an authorized Honeywell dealership.
