Metrojet Achieves Cayman Islands Approval as an Aircraft Maintenance OrganizationMetrojet is pleased to announce its enhanced capability of corporate aviation maintenance support with its Cayman Islands Aircraft Maintenance Organization approval. Metrojet’s maintenance department is a certified repair station with approvals from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, the United States Federal Aviation Administration and Bermuda BCDA and is also authorized to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in various other countries, including China and Macau registered aircraft. With a maintenance staff of more than 70 people, Metrojet is now also authorized to provide maintenance and return to service, as well as issue and sign annual renewals for Certificates of Airworthiness and importation for Cayman Islands registered aircraft. “Metrojet strives to be the world class maintenance service centre of choice for business jets in the region," said Chris Buchholz, CEO of Metrojet Limited.
