Metrojet Achieves Cayman Islands Approval as an Aircraft Maintenance Organization

Metrojet is pleased to announce its enhanced capability of corporate aviation maintenance support with its Cayman Islands Aircraft Maintenance Organization approval. Metrojet’s maintenance department is a certified repair station with approvals from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, the United States Federal Aviation Administration and Bermuda BCDA and is also authorized to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in various other countries, including China and Macau registered aircraft.

With a maintenance staff of more than 70 people, Metrojet is now also authorized to provide maintenance and return to service, as well as issue and sign annual renewals for Certificates of Airworthiness and importation for Cayman Islands registered aircraft.

Metrojet is a full Gulfstream Authorized Warranty Repair Facility for G200, GIV series, GV series, G450 and G550 aircraft as well as an authorized Bombardier Aircraft Service Facility for Global, Challenger and Learjet aircraft. The highly trained, qualified and experienced engineers have Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce, GE, Honeywell and Turbomeca aircraft engines and APU type ratings. The Avionics and Airframe engineers also have ratings on Gulfstream, Bombardier, Hawker Beechcraft, Falcon, Cessna Citation, Embraer, Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
