Metrojet, based in Hong Kong, announced its appointment as the exclusive operator by Asia Jet for the Asia Jet Card Program, a private jet card that delivers the safety and service of private jet ownership with only a prepaid commitment and without requiring any membership fee. Metrojet is appointed to comprehensively manage all aspects of Asia Jet’s fleet and provide maintenance and flight operations services including aircraft scheduling and flight planning, flight and cabin crew management and flight dispatching.
Asia Jet Card members will be entitled to superior availability to the Asia Jet fleet while also having access to Metrojet's world class fleet of business jets under its Air Operator’s Certificate. Card members will be able to enjoy all the convenience of unparalleled access to a fully managed fleet without operational and acquisition responsibilities, which include hiring and training flight crews, flight scheduling and aircraft maintenance. The Asia Jet Card members prepaid balance covers all per flight costs. Hourly flight charges and associated handling fees are debited from the Card member's prepaid balances each time they fly.
"The Asia Jet Card concept is a unique product that broadens the market for premium private jet travel," said Chris Buchholz, CEO of Metrojet Limited. "Metrojet is delighted to be appointed to operate Asia Jet's state-of-the-art fleet under our AOC and to manage all aspects of flight operations and aircraft maintenance for Asia Jet Card members who can enjoy Metrojet’s superior flight standards, our impeccable cabin service and our much acclaimed comprehensive maintenance."
Justin Lee Firestone, Founder and CEO of Asia Jet Partners said that now their card members can just pay for what they need and enjoy a better balance between business and personal time commitments.
Metrojet’s professional multilingual global flight dispatch center, located at Hong Kong International Airport, is standing by 24 hours a day, seven days a week to process flight requests for Asia Jet Card members and prepare all of the necessary permits and in-flight catering preferences. Its highly experienced multicultural flight attendants attend additional VIP service training at its sister company, The Peninsula Hotel, in Hong Kong. Metrojet’s Maintenance Service Centre provides heavy/scheduled inspections and 24/7 return-to-service repair services throughout Asia and can be reached via its 24 hour hotline at (+852) 2215 3838 or by email at mx@metrojet.com.
