Landmark Aviation Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Opening of New Terminal at Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)

Landmark Aviation hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new terminal at Asheville Regional Airport (AVL).

Landmark Aviation and the Asheville Regional Airport Authority proudly cut the ribbon on a new 5,000-square-foot terminal on the evening of April 16, 2009, to celebrate the completion of a $4.6 million project. Landmark’s state-of-the-art FBO includes a spacious conference room, pilot’s lounge, flight planning area, and a new 23,000-square-foot hangar.

“We are very pleased to be a part of the Asheville aviation community and look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with the Asheville Regional Airport Authority,” said Dan Bucaro, President and CEO of Landmark. “They have been extremely supportive throughout the project, and we could not have completed it without them.”

This addition brings Landmark’s network to 41 FBOs, including locations in the U.S., Canada and Western Europe.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Landmark Aviation is a portfolio company of GTCR Golder Rauner and Platform Partners, LLC. For more information, visit www.landmarkaviation.com.
