Key Air Twin Cities: The Destination for the RNC, Now the Destination for You

Key Air Twin Cities at ANE opened its doors in grand fashion Labor Day weekend as Key Air, LLC’s newest marquee facility, provided Republican National Convention (RNC) goers a true luxurious welcome.
Key Air Twin Cities’ debut was a remarkable one - with acres of sparkling hangar space and full FBO services ready and waiting, the stage was set for a remarkable inaugural week. By the first day of the RNC, Key Air had scheduled more than 60 aircraft to land at its new FBO. More than 25,000 gallons of fuel were pumped as taxiing, fueling and flight coordination was only the start of the appeal. Private lounges, concierge services and gourmet dining also awaited passengers and crews.
“We are extremely pleased and encouraged by the feedback and activity at our newest location in Minnesota,” said Brad Kost, Key Air’s President and CEO. “It is a luxurious yet comfortable facility that offers Metropolitan finishes and levels of service in a much more efficient environment.”
With heightened security surrounding private jet travel and strict restrictions in place for other area airports (MSP and STP), ANE became the destination for the RNC. Only a 15-minute car ride to downtown Minneapolis, yet just outside the 10-mile TFRs – Key Air Twin Cities was perfectly placed for convention goers. Also, without having to file for a slot and the ability to avoid the other inconveniences of the Gateway System, Key Air Twin Cities was primed to support the massive amount of convention travel.
MORE ABOUT KEY AIR TWIN CITIES
This pristine new facility is complete with the 4,800- and 5,000-foot runways and precision approach system. The airport can accommodate private jet travel to assist in easing the congestion of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and the St. Paul Downtown Airport (STP).
Key Air’s new world-class FBO facility features 65,000 square feet of hangar and office complexes. The new state-of-the-art terminal and business center comes complete with all luxurious amenities including private lounges and concierge services. In addition to a new FBO facility, Key Air will offer its expertise in aircraft management, charter services, aircraft sales and acquisition and maintenance.
“Our goal has always been to anticipate our clients’ needs and always exceed their expectations," Kost said. "We will do that by offering a complete aircraft management package in all of our locations.”
