Jet Aviation Hong Kong Receives Base Maintenance Approval to Work on China- and Macau-Registered Aircraft

Jet Aviation Hong Kong recently received base maintenance approval by the Hong Kong CAD. The approval enables the facility to now carry-out heavy maintenance on aircraft registered in PRC and Macau. In addition, Jet Aviation Hong Kong has also been awarded a number of additional maintenance approvals for aircraft registered outside of the vicinity.

The firm received approval from the Bermuda authority to work on Gulfstream, Bombardier and Boeing BBJ aircraft up to a C check as well as an approval from the Isle of Man’s aviation authority to provide maintenance on G550 aircraft registered in Isle of Man.

“With these latest approvals, we will be able to further support our increasing Asian customer base in Hong Kong and strengthen our global MRO network serving major OEMs,” said Christof Spaeth, Senior Vice President, MRO & FBO services for EMEA & Asia.

Jet Aviation Hong Kong, which has one hangar totaling 9,200 square meters (99,027 square feet), offers line maintenance, inspections and defect rectifications as well as AOG support. The company holds Hong Kong CAD maintenance repair station approval and an FAA repair station certificate #6JAY388B, and mainland China JMM approval for PRC registered aircraft. The company also services aircraft registered in 11 other countries through Jet Aviation's maintenance approvals in Singapore, which include EASA #145.0461, Aruba DCA, Australian CASA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Indonesia DGAC, Macao MAR-145, Malaysia DCA, Philippines ATO, Singapore CAAS and Thailand DOA.
